We just returned from a month long trip through SE Asia. We had arranged most of the trip ourselves and then when it came time to book Vietnam, found it to be much more difficult that we had anticipated. I noticed Hien (TravelSense screen name) post a response to questions I had about Halong Bay in the forums and contacted her. It was the best decision we made of the trip. We were able to book our trip to Halong (definitely go with Indochina Junks), our overnight train to Da Nang and our hotels in Hanoi and Hoi An.

There was a snag with drivers picking us up a couple of times - once at 1:30am in Hanoi from the airport and the other at 3:30am in Hoi An on our way to the airport. Unfortunately these things happen but even at these ridiculous hours, they were on the phone helping us sort it out. I will be recommending Travel Sense to any of my friends and family traveling in SE Asia in the future.
