Day 1               HANOI ARRIVAL                    

Arrive to Noi Bai Airport. You are welcomed by our driver at exit gate. Transfer to hotel (45min). Check in hotel. Overnight in Hanoi

 

Day 2               HANOI CITY TOUR      (B,L)

8.30, meet up with our tour guide at hotel lobby. Start a day visit Hanoi City with the most interesting sights, including: Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and His Stilt House, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to Temple of Literature. Lunch in local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Ethnology Museum, and after that visit the beautiful West Lake with Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple, end of the day by water puppet show.

Day 3               HANOI / HALONG       (B,L,D)                        

8.30, transfer to Halong. About 11.30-12.00, you are welcomed on boat and have set lunch while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will basically included visit Amazing cave, kayaking (extra option), and swimming in crystal water and enjoy the landscape. Dinner and overnight on the cruise. Overnight on Junk

 

Day 4               HALONG / HANOI / HO CHI MINH CITY       (B,L)               

Breakfast on boat. Cruise back to Halong City. Our driver is waiting for you to transfer back to Hanoi at about 3.30-4.00pm. Car transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Driver picks you up at airport, transfer to hotel. Check in hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 5               Ho Chi Minh City / Cu Chi Tunnels     (B,L,D)

Breakfast in the hotel. We will start a day with visiting Cu Chi Tunnels, a Viet Cong base during the war, explore the tunnels yourselves to understand more about Vietnamese and the history. Return to Ho Chi Minh city and have lunch in local restaurant. Afternoon, visit War Museum with a lot of exhibitions related to American war, visit Reunification Palace which was the workplace of the Southern President of Vietnam during the war. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and nearby area with the old Post office. End of the day in Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Dinner in local restaurant and overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 6               Ho Chi Minh City / Ben Tre / Ho Chi Minh City         (B,L)

Breakfast in Hotel. Take a full day trip to Ben Tre town, where you will take a boat trip around Ben Tre River, where you can see the locals’ activities, make a stop on the way to know how people make bricks, salts and coconut. Boat on Cai Son and Nhon Thanh creeks to visit some local families making mats. Take motor-cart (xe loi – a symbol of south west area). Pass the rice paddies and veggie gardens to know more about agriculture of the country. Lunch in Mr Hai Ho’s. In the afternoon, take rowing boat along the creek and boat to Cai Cuoi Creek. Stop to visit rice workshop on the way. You will be back to Ho Chi Minh City by the end of the day.

 

Day 7               Ho Chi Minh City Departure                           (B)

Today you will have chance to visit Ben Thanh market - a fun place to shop for bargains. Some goods can be unique and fascinating – old propaganda posters, for example; Clothing includes silks and hand-woven fabrics with a reputation for high quality. Vietnam is also famous for handicrafts including bamboo ware, ceramics and lacquer or all the usual holiday souvenirs such as T-shirts and beaded handbags... Free for your own leisure until transfer to airport for your departure flight.
