From Jan 16 – Jan 19 2018, Travel Sense Asia attended successfully the Travel Mart AEC in Myanmar. With the trend of traveling all over the world, Travel Sense Asia is one of the leading companies finding and serving the customers from Asia.
As in previous years, global tourism continued to experience steady growth in 2016. International tourist arrivals increased to 1,235 million worldwide (+ 3.9%) and tourism receipts grew at a slightly lower rate, compared to the arrivals, of 2.6%. However, it is notable that “destinations worldwide welcomed 598 million international tourists in the first six months of 2017, some 36 million more than in the same period of 2016.
A notable feature of tourism in Asia and the Pacific is that 80% of the traffic is intraregional, a similar percentage as in 2015. The dominant regional influence has been prevalent since 2006 (78%).
And Vietnam, the total number of visitors in 2017 is 12,922,151, increasing by 29.1% compared to 2016. According to the Tourism Department, in 2018, Vietnam’s tourism is expected to receive 15.5 million to 16 million international visitors, serving 75-80 million domestic visitors, total revenue of 620 trillion. Vietnam ranks 6 out of 10 countries with the highest tourism growth rate in the world, ranking first in Asia.
By attending the tourism promotion trade in some famous fairs like WTM, ITB, ITE, ACE…, Travel Sense Asia hopes to share the opportunities with many people who want to visit Vietnam and Indochina.
